A Red for Everyone

The question I always ask myself is …… “Will red lipstick ever go out of fashion”. Red lipstick has existed since forever ….i.e. since the generation of Etta James, Marilyn Monroe and even before, down to our generation.

One thing I fancy about Red lipstick is the fact that it’s got so many colour shades. This means red can be worn on any skin tone; it’s just a matter of picking or mixing different shades to get the exact red shade that suits you.

 Red lipstick can be worn in two ways….dressy and casual.

For me, I love to mix and match my lipsticks just to get a different colour/tone (that probably doesn’t exist or its , uncommon).

Red is that little black dress in your make-up bag, always ready to be worn.

so you ask, WHAT TONE? WHAT RED?

All types of Skin Tone: Primary red would do....

For Pink undertones : Brick red, pink tone of red, berry red, blue tone red, orangey red, plum tone

And For Yellow Undertone: Orange red again, plum tomatoes, warm red, brown based red, golden reds and tawyn reds.

I don’t know about you, but the colour Red connotes class, Boost of self esteem, Gives a lady-like look\feel and finally produces Attraction, Something every woman wants when wearing Red.
